• neither any insurance company, with which the insurance broker has signed a contract, nor a person controlling such insurance company has qualified participation in any fixed assets or any voting rights in the insurance broker
• in case of dissatisfaction with the performance of the broker, a client is entitled to lodge a complaint for carrying out insurance brokerage at supervising authority – the Financial Market Office or at the insurance company, the insurance product of which was mediated by the insurance broker
• legal processes implied by the insurance brokerage may be solved in extrajudicial way – within brokerage by course of the Act No. 420/2004 Coll. on brokerage and supplementing of certain acts or, if agreed by both parties, in arbitrary process by course of the Act No. 244/2002 Coll. on arbitrary process
• insurance broker carries out the insurance brokerage according to the contract with several insurance companies, while these contracts are of non-exclusive nature
