MPS Ltd. was established in August 1998 as an independent professional company with business activities oriented mainly on brokerage, counseling within the insurance sector and risk management.

Its operation started on the basis of the license of the Ministry of Finance of Slovak Republic, granted by course of the Act No. 24/1991 Coll. on insurance sector as amended. Concerning the legislation change, MPS Ltd. was granted permit No. GRUFT-100/2003/PMPO for insurance broker activities by the Financial Market Office by course of the Act on insurance sector as amended No. 95 /2002 Coll. Art. 13, par. 4.

By course of the Act No. 340/2005 Coll. on insurance and reinsurance brokerage and amendment and supplement of certain acts, on 27 November 2006, MPS Ltd. was granted a permit of the National Bank of Slovakia for mediation of insurance as the insurance broker. The company is listed in the register of insurance brokers and reinsurance brokers under the entry No. PAG 035428.

Since 2000, MPS Ltd. has been a regular member of the Slovak Association of Insurance Brokers (further on referred to as SASP), which unites the most important broker companies. The primary aim of MPS Ltd. is to maintain the ethical code for the purpose of achieving an optimum insurance with super-standard service for its clients.

The economic force and stability of MPS Ltd. is also guaranteed by insurance of professional liability for losses.
